Managing advanced PARKINSON'S DISEASE in a global emergency

latest thinking, new challenges & future directions

Dear Colleagues,

We are delighted to invite you to the first international livestream meeting on advanced Parkinson’s disease (PD), sponsored by Britannia Pharmaceuticals Ltd.

At this meeting, scheduled for 5th March 2021, we have brought together an exceptional faculty of speakers who lead Parkinson’s clinical practice and research on both sides of the Atlantic. These experts are primed to share with us their latest thinking about some of the key challenges facing the advanced Parkinson’s community today; central to these, of course, is Covid-19 – a viral pandemic that has completely changed the landscape of patient welfare and healthcare delivery. With data accumulating on the impact of Covid-19, the time is now right to explore some of the hard facts and potential consequences of this game-changer for both Parkinson’s patients and the healthcare management team.

Within this challenging context we will also examine the current approach to management of advanced PD and where Apomorphine fits among current therapeutic options. On this specific question, separate sessions will be available to reflect the availability of different therapies in different global regions, thereby providing a relevant discussion forum.

We invite you to join us for this interactive meeting and engage with your healthcare colleagues as we survey and discuss global opinion and practice in the management of advanced PD.
